Definitely would have assured the best teams were represented this year.

It’s not a real playoff if every D1 conference isn’t represented, the playoffs don’t need an overhaul. D1 needs an overhaul

Can't focus on what works one year. No Automatic bids.

Unless the big boys are ready to break off, that will never happen. I don't think they are ready to break off as the little guys are currently fronting roughly 60% of the 2.8 billion dollar NCAA settlement.

The B1G and SEC alone should receive automatic bids for regular and championship game titles, with the rest of the field filled out by the rankings. The ACC, Big12, and G5 can form their own tournament if they do not like it.

I think all conference champs should get an auto-bid *if you finish in the Top 16. Otherwise you stay home.

Hell no. 3 ACC teams? 3 Big 12 teams? No thanks.

The G5 should t have an autobid unless that team is in the top 15 or so.

Why would you think that conferences would sign on to that concept? All FBS conferences have a say in the CFP Administration, LLC.
