I get your point and you're not wrong. But, I'll happily take it for now

Explain this one:

OU fought tooth and nails against LSU. Squeaked out a win. Didn’t move up.

Alabama fought tooth and nails against Auburn. Squeaked out a win. Moved up.

Explanation: Alabama is not gonna be out if they lose the SEC championship. Needed to move them up, and take their lumps this week vs. having them jump Notre Dame next week after a loss in case BYU wins.

Bama didn't move up because we won. We moved up because Texas A&M lost and made NDs schedule look suspect.

Also if Bama losea Bama has to get in or the SEC title game goes away forever

Alabama finished number 1 in the SEC. You think they should be left out? I get that we have traumatized you guys, but you ought to want the SEC to get preferential treatment.

Not entirely accurate.

Auburn looked dead for most of the first half.
In the second half, we got the actual Iron Bowl and then Auburn ran out of magic after DeBoer nutted up big time on multiple fourth downs that even had Les Miles blushing.

It’s the Iron Bowl. Also, frick Notre Dame.

The only thing for certain to me is that the committee just makes up shite as they go along. When the Chair is saying they liked the playcalling of Bama against Auburn as the reason they moved them up they have completely thrown out any objective standards. It's just how they feel and they are loaded with people that have conflicts of interest and grudges.

It's a joke, always has been.

You'd think Georgia didn't struggle against a worse Auburn team earlier in the season the way OP is talking.

Alabama beat Auburn on the road in a rivalry game? It's paper thin but I can see it if I squint hard enough.

Dude, we are in the playoffs while the T-Sippers will be watching on the TV. Enjoy it.

Committee does this all the time. They’re just setting up the rankings for specific outcomes with the least amount of backlash.

We lost one game, bruh. We didn't lose to an unranked team, bruh.

This isn't about Bammer, bruh. Just that even if you disagree with the CFP ranking of Notre Dame above Bama, bruh, the reason given for reversing that ranking isn't sound, bruh.

Clue: You can believe that Bama should be above Notre Dame but still criticize the explanation given for doing it.

If Bama beats UGA twice in a year should we be ahead of them?

Yeah. That statement was the most absurd and insincere statement made all night by anyone. It’s like saying we’ve made up our mind and have to find any excuse to justify it.

Just say you feel Bama is better and deal with the feedback. That statement made them look manipulative.

This is only the second year of the 12 team playoff. They make dumb decisions based on name brands. The sport will never again be allowed to have any type of rhythm or flow to it because of idiots. Get the simulators out and use the computers. But then that takes away air time for these mouth breathing morons on the world wide loser

One thing the committee should absolutely do is re-evaluate every week. They are making debatable judgement calls. Just because they make a choice one week shouldn’t mean they are locked into that forever. Sure, this opens them up to criticism for inconsistency, but getting it right is more important than avoiding criticism.

I would put you there, but there would be an argument for you not to be.

The fault in all of this lies in teams only wanting to show off their best assets and hide their warts.

Notre Dame
Miami
Alabama
Oklahoma
Texas
Vandy

and whoever else

The reason you are where you are is your own fault. WIN YOUR GAMES!!!
