The Crimson Tide will move the USF contest, add Chattanooga and Marshall to future schedules

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama announced adjustments to its future football schedules on Tuesday morning.

The Crimson Tide and USF mutually agreed to move their previously scheduled 2026 matchup to the 2032 season. Alabama will replace the USF contest with Chattanooga and as was previously announced, added a game against East Carolina for the '26 campaign.

Additionally, the Tide will host Marshall as part of the 2027 schedule.

That might happen depending on what the committee does.

I think for every 10 spots in SOS rankings, that should account for 1 loss. I respect OSU for playing Texas...but they need two big OOC games, not one. This is especially true when they play neither Indiana or Oregon

Hopefully we don't lose games like Ohio St and ND...looking forward to those in BDS.

But yeah, this cfp deal has to start rewarding SOS...and not just it as a differentiation between teams with the same number of losses.

Was USF even going to be good next year with a new coach and all?

Nope. We beat them 42-16 last year.

I'm sure this has been in the works for months.

We were up 14-13 entering the 4th quarter. They were better this year, and their QB has another year of eligibility. Had he returned, along with Golesh, they'd have been a pretty good team.

Sankey kind of forced this with adding an SEC game to the schedule. Someone had to take the axe. Don't worry, we will still get screwed with the byes

Don’t think it’s a coincidence that we released this info today ahead of the CFP rankings. Sends a signal.

We’ve now taken WVU and USF off the schedule for next year. I think Byrne gets it now. Only thing left is Ohio State and Notre Dame.

It sucks really, I was excited when we scheduled a home/away with both. I hope we don't cancel thost two, looking forward to the visits.

We will probably have the chance to play them next year on Saban Field at the end of Nov.
