A&M would hire lane in an instant if they could. You guys went after Kentucky’s coach last year. Pathetic bunch

They’ve kind of pushed all their chips in on Lane.

They’re honestly edging toward the margins of fiscal instability. They’re going to have 10% of their football revenue allocated to increased coaching costs in an almost best case scenario.

If it all blows up, they’ll be a little hamstrung.

I would also expect their other sports budgets to suffer.

I've been told nobody but LSU and OM fans care about this.

According to media reports, Lane was doing all he could to get the A&M job, but the regents killed the idea.

This is going to end in a fiery bayou fire as every other program associated with Lane has done before.

And Lane would be the first to tell you that some of God's greatest gifts are unanswered prayer.

It’s just money

If it doesn’t go well, we’ll fire him and hire another coach for 100 million.

Ole Miss thinks they’ll have more nil money and sustain success. Can’t be too bad if they feel that way.

This board melts over the buyout, then they turn around and insist he's going to leave for Bama or Texas.

Hard to keep up.

Only took a 30% salary increase, 5 eeeks of begging, and all kinds of guarantees to pry him away from Ole Miss for a “top 5” HC gig.

Meanwhile he called about Bama opening, A&M opening, Auburn opening, etc.. etc..

LOL

Nope. We been there, done that. You guys are just starting your Jimbo fiasco. Gonna be fun to watch since our nightmare is paid off, yours is just beginning.

I’d worry about your own program if I were you.

I think you could make a good case for this being worse than what Lincoln Riley did to OU. Arguably the best season in Ole Miss history and just abandons ship before the playoffs. I genuinely feel bad for the fans.

I am worried about our program.

We need a QB, an OC, a Special Teams coach, an Offensive analyst and a DB coach.

I can also have other opinions. I post them here. If you don’t like them, you are free to continue to shove things up your arse.
