Why do LSU fans feel this will be different?

I have no doubts that Kiffin is going to win big at LSU.

But the fanbase seems to believe Kiffin has finally found “home.”

The guy is referencing how his dad moved so often and that persisting in changing locations helped him impact so many people. He’s literally telling everyone this is a temporary position.

I think he’ll be there 4-6 years and on to the next job. But it’ll be a good 4-6 years for Baton Rouge.

We do not care. You people dont seem to get that.

Hes gonna win big. If he leaves, it means he did damn good.

When 3 out of your last 4 coaches win a fricking natty , itll happen again.

And If Kiffin decides this is home? God help you all

I don’t really feel like it’ll be different. But who knows in the end. He doesn’t have many more places to go up in the college game besides a few select schools and those schools don’t really fire coaches that often. But we will see.

I don’t think anybody is gonna want to be in Baton Rouge for more than six years unless they are winning the natty every other year. We will nitpick that coach to death four years and one national championship six years and two national championships is good enough for me. He can go wherever he wants with my blessing as long as it’s not Alabama. If that happens, the world may burn.

6 years works for me. How many coaches last more than 6 years at one place?

There are only a few jobs that Lane would leave LSU for.
