THe funny part is UK fans thinking they will get 5 star receivers at Kentucky just because Hartline is there.

And possibly GM as well

Champ Kelly would be just as big a hire as the head coach. If true - a very positive hire. Sorely needed at UK.

I also like this. You get no decision when the room gets too big.

I will always wonder - if Kentucky moved sooner, could they have got Sumrall ? We'll never know.

Without question. He would be in Lexington if this happened last year when Stoops should have been let go.

If true, props to UK for sleeping in and still landing a big fish.

Those are both decent options for Kentucky. It wouldn't be unreasonable for a bigger name football program to hire either guy as HC (some wondered about Hartline at PSU).

Stein has risen quickly and has three years of experience as Oregon OC. No HC experience. Went to Louisville. Was in highschool football not long ago (2018 and 2019).

Hartline would be my preference if I were Kentucky. He's also never been HC but has more years of experience at a major program (only three years as OSU OC but coached there since 2018). He's an Ohio State former player and NFL wr. Very possible that he would leave for ohio State if that job opened up. Right now is not a bad time to leave given the number of years he's worked for Ohio State.

I know he had a huge budget to work with, but Hartline is credited with landing a lot of top recruits at OSU.
