Did not appreciate him enough this year.
Especially with pass blocking.

Dude is always open and is great with yard after the catch.

What's his status for Saturday?

Broken foot. I think he’s done for the year.

Our TE blocking was putrid last night from what I saw. And not a threat receiving. So yeah losing Cuevas was huge.

I said this last week and got downvoted, but going to be nearly impossible to win CFP without him, maybe our most important skill player.

The young guys can step up. We must have played 5 TEs yesterday. We had a nice call on a 2nd down that hit one of them underneath. Would have went for a nice chunk but the young guy dropped it and fell down. Maybe #14? Anyways, not him. But some of the other guys have talent.

Josh Cuevas drags felt like 25% of our offense this year.

It was 14. He missed the catch and fell and was completely untouched.

Also on that 1st down scramble by Ty he looked like a baby deer. I almost thought he was going to run backwards for a second. Scared me to death.

Also now everyone knows why AK isn’t playing. He was terrified.

Well, yes, 15 for Auburn is a third year player who’s being projected as a first round pick in the upcoming draft. So, yeah.

If the TE's can't block put an OL out there with a TE #. Sanders is mobile.

Agreed. We have to do something. This is a problem.

Where'd you hear this? DeBoer isn't talking like he's out for the season.

Was he? I saw him on the one screen and he looked ok. He caught the ball and gained some yards. What did I miss?

Agree that we may need to use 6 OL at times. We certainly have enough with playing experience. Did yall see the Broncos game last night? Near the 2 yadd line they used an OG at FB and put him in motion into the A gap. He gets a full head of steam and blows through the line. We have used Sanders in that formation early in the year. He came around with a wam block and cleared a nice hole. Bring it back.

AK better get over it quick. We are thin and he’s up. I think he rises to the challenge

Watch it again. Very slow, very unsure, it’s fine. It’s literally his first meaningful play. The rest of his time was garbage. There’s a good player in him. He needs confidence. I don’t know if UGA is where we find it.

What’s happened to Richard Young ? Has he just checked out mentally ?

Jam actually looked good against AU and our line was opening up some lanes. With him unable to go, there might be a role for Dear carrying the ball. Hill is good as a battering ram, but I don't think he has the burst to get through the seams for big gains. Riley did, but obviously he is out as well.

He's honestly just not as good as the other guys. Upright runner, lacks burst. Not really a powerful runner either.
