I believe they're still in, but the committee's rankings and selections are uneven.

Should be. The guy that built them told them to frick off, CFP Committee should too.

No way Frodo Baggins is winning shite there

They’re probably still in. But without their coaching staff they will likely get wrecked in the first round.

Losing your coach should be treated like losing your QB -

If Ole Miss misses out and OU makes it, I’ll stop following this sport

Both should make it, but if they dropped 11-1 Ole Miss to 13th I would just tap out at that point

Of course they are. They’re an 11-1 SEC team.

They’re in. Rightfully so.

But with the way ESPN was begging OM to let LK coach, wouldn’t be surprised to see those same talking heads make excuses for punishing the rebs. ESPN is so trashy

I think they definitely get in, but get absolutely wrecked at home in the first round. Lost your HC, OC, and a ton of staffers.

That is possible. ESPN can be vindictive.

They should be left out. Will be enjoying watching Golding coach this team in a first round playoff game.

Perhaps if it’s nip and tuck for the last spot but in this case it’s not. Apples and oranges.

They're definitely in despite the idiot AD who let his pride get in the way of giving his team the best shot to win.

They’re still in it. They are out game 2. Will have an emotional game 1 and rally, then game 2 will get steamrolled. Don’t even know the matchups, don’t have to. Probably should have let the man keep coaching. He is going to steal all the players and coaches regardless……

They were gonna get wrecked in the first round either way. Very overrated team. Just managed to be lucky enough to be on the good side of a bunch of 1 score games, including a 24 to 21 win over an absolute nobody.

What would be your record with Golding at HC and your good staffers all gone?

It's an utter travesty. One of the most dishonorable public events I've seen outside of politics in a long time. To me this just seems like leaving your men rudderless before a big battle so you can collect some coin. Beyond the pale.

Until today I've been on the train that Texas doesn't have a route into the CFP that's in keeping with the committee rules and fair to the other teams... but at this point I think replacing Ole Miss with Texas is the most sensible thing to do.

Good lord you horn fans reek of desperation. There is a line of 2 loss teams ahead of you that would be in before you

Agreed. I actually feel bad for them. I get why Lane wanted to finish coaching, I also get why OM wouldn’t let him finish
