I know we have talked about him all year, but damn today was something special. Weathered a 1/7 stretch for a quarter and a half because he stopped setting his feet. Otherwise 22/27 for 359 yards and 4 tuddies. Not to mention all the holding calls on the secondary and dropped TD passes.
I think the point guard analogy is spot on. Just so good at keeping the offense humming. If he had gotten to play against GSU he probably makes our top 10 passing seasons list and gets heisman buzz

I still believe he at least deserves a seat in NY. I get he has 2 less games, but he also has 2 less games and is comparable.

If Simmons was QB the entire year, we'd have picked up a couple more L's. Trinidad has been an absolute stud.

You cannot say that with absolute certainty, Simmons is a really good QB.

We will see next year when Lane gets Trinidad another year of eligibility for LSU, which makes me wonder about the possibility of retaining Charlie to maintain continuity

Trinidad will forever be a legend . And more importantly a life lesson to those who maybe aren’t where they are meant to be. Or someone who knows they’re meant for better things in a big stage. All you need is one shot. One opportunity . To seize everything you ever wanted.
