Apparently, fans are being too emotional when it comes to this football thing

I watched Gabe try to tell Mizzou fans to not be so emotional when evaluating this coaching carousel bullshite.

Let me tell you something about emotion: it's the only fricking reason a fan invests his time in the first place. Y'all (everyone involved in sports entertainment including Gabe's smug arse) need to wake the frick up and realize our emotional investment is the only damn reason we even bother with this bullshite.

Gabe says Drink hasn't done anything wrong. In his world, maybe that's true. Gabe says "well he can't 100% say he's coming back." Sorry Gabe, but yes he could. Why is that such an out-of-the-question request?

Drink, you want to sell me on your team, a family of brothers that fight for each other through thick and thin? You want my emotional buy-in as a fan, but you ain't really 100% bought in yourself? You want to manipulate my emotions as a fan, and then negotiate on those emotions through a corporate panhandling?

Maybe Gabe is right. Maybe I'm investing too much emotion into this team.

Gabe’s life depends on us being emotional about college football.

Gabe enjoys pretending to be the smartest guy in the room because people pay to hear his bullshite. He spent last Saturday talking down to those complaining about play calling. In his state of the Tigers thing, his beat reporter comes out and says after watching the game again, play calling is indeed an issue. He glazed right over his guy's point and said some shite like "Well, what's the play call for 2nd and 17". What are you calling on 1st down that caused that shite. Running OZ to the boundary on every first down is going to lead to penalties and TFLs allowed because the Dline and LBs are going to start penetrating to spill the play out . If your OC doesn't have that answer, especially with the skill talent on the team, its a big fricking problem.

Press box superfriends gonna press box superfriend. frick that guy.

You’ve got 5 likes. That indicates a quorum.

I move that SEC Rant Mizzou Board formally says “frick Gabe.”

Second?

But isnt Gabes job to carry the narrative not to honestly report. Social media and podcasters just say what the school sources or agents tell them to say or they get cut out.

Gabe says Drink is the best coach for Mizzou and was never going to leave.

PSU podcasters say Drink was the man but the deal fell through.

Neither is probably the real or whole truth but these aren't investigative reporters. They are paid mouthpieces.

Gabe's job is to report what he is seeing. If he's not committed enough to understand what he is seeing, that's not my problem.

No. He has that in his life because he’s dependent upon Mizzou access to keep people paying for their subscriptions. So he’s balancing those things out.

I don’t think he thinks that highly of the people who pay him money.

I'd like to amend Bass's motion to include: "...and the horse he rode in on."

The arrogant frickhead,
