Oregon's resume is certainly not better than Ole Miss....

I guess you could argue they've handled the bad B1G teams better than Ole Miss handled the bad SEC teams, but the bad SEC teams are just different.

Like Brent Rollins said in that podcast with Pollack. Something like this:

"Florida is a bad SEC team. But when you look at the talent, they still can put it together to play a game like they did vs. Texas. Can the bottom B1G teams do that?"

Think they're wanting to put us in a position to be jumped for hosting if we beat Mississippi state or drop us all the way out if we lose

Washington can score a lot. They can’t stop anyone, similar to USC. Oregon defense doesn’t impress me

Committee loves to over react to recent games and OU looked great against USC (nvm that Illinois did too)

Also setting us up for a road game when Kiffin leaves.

Ole Miss has a pretty soft schedule so I’m not surprised.

Have you seen Oregon's?

What's different?

Ole Miss- Lost to UGA, beat OU.

Oregon- Lost to Indy, beat USC.

I'd give the edge to Ole Miss there. The OU win is more impressive.

Indy is two, but we all know UGA would be favored if they meet.

Also, we were leading UGA in the 4th quarter on the road. Oregon was never in it at home.

I guess they are giving Oregon credit for beating Penn State still because that is their second best win

Beat the piss out of Tulane this year as well which looks like they’ll be another playoff team

This is the same Ole Miss that barely beat Washington State? We're talking about the same Ole Miss right?

If Alabama beats Auburn, a team that lost to Florida State is playing for the SEC championship. Let's keep things in perspective.

That was immediately after a pick 6 but I’ll rephrase. Oregon never had the ball in the 2nd half while tied/leading.

That's not what your OP said. It said Oregon was never in it, when they were tied with 6 and a half minutes left in the game.

But he’s right in the sense that Indiana controlled that game from the start. They were clearly better for 4 quarters. The game was at Oregon and even with a pick 6 they still lost by two scores.

Oregon rarely even wins, much less smokes anyone in highly ranked matchups.
