Outsider’s perspective, the shenanigans have muddied the water too much for a no hard feelings return to happen.

Or maybe I don’t appreciate how much of a dry spell ole miss was in prior to Kiffin. They’d take him back regardless.

Yes. Idk why anyone should have confidence in what happens.

The coaching carousel in the SEC is cutthroat. This is far from over.

Whats the point of him as a head coach if he’s just going to destruct every time there are real consequences/opportunity on the line?

I'm pretty certain he doesn't care. He cares about nothing but himself. Always has, always will

If he signs an extension Ole Miss fans will feel safe for years.

I do not think he will stay but I think they would absolutely have him if he would. It’s like the dork in high school that gets a girlfriend that’s too hot for him. She continues to cheat but there’s nothing she could do that would cause him not to take her back.

Here is the odd part, outside of message board insiders which are always entertaining during coaching searches and a couple of statements by the OM AD. We don’t really know anything definitively other than UF and LSU are pursuing him for their openings as well as Sexton being a master manipulator. It could very well be that everyone involved is being used as leverage against the others.

Not unless there are serious contractual boundaries that prevent this dumb shite in the future. Which there wont be. So why not just let him go and take the buy out money to add to NIL and go get Sumrall.

Oh they'd have him back in a heartbeat if he decided to stay, and then they'd tell all their friends that "he's changed this time."

Bunch of cucks. Sitting there watching him get it on with LSU and Florida, lashing out emotionally about it, but secretly hoping he changes his mind and comes back home.

A perfect microcosm of the Ole Miss fanbase.

Happy Egg Bowl week, bitches.

This is the exact same thing that happened in 2022 and ended up staying. The only difference is is he has a playoff team.

He doesn’t have a daughter starting Ole Miss, begging him to stay-so not exactly. He’s said that is the only reason he stuck around.

Now that daughter has an LSU boyfriend and is close to graduating.
