I would bet good money that Lane is going to Florida. I think Sexton is out to frick LSU over Mr. Guvna's comments.

I think he recommits to the Rebs just before the Egg Bowl kickoff.

Jeff Landry has fricked us into SEC purgatory and now we have to sit back in our devoid football hovels waiting out his political career.

It’s not just those that are getting strung-along. Lane is hijacking the nation’s entire coaching search. The first domino needs to fall.

This would surprise me more than anything.

I agree with this and you better be looking for your #2 candidate.

Lane is trying to patch up his marriage with Layla,

Layla hated Knoxville. I'm sure she is dying to move to that paradise known as Baton Rouge.

Layla is a Florida girl. Her Dad and family are all Florida people.

Do the math.

I agree. Think about us. We cannot have an open coaching search, although one is already happening in the background, because Lane is occupying the pilot's chair. We can only go so far until he get's out of the seat.

It would have been far better if he had announced last Friday that he was leaving so that we could open up our own search.

It was Dad's first game as well despite being a lifelong fan. Grew up in Herschel Walker's hometown and Dad went to every game his senior year as the team won its only state championship.

Dad's brother-in-law, my uncle of course, had two tickets. I begged to go. Dad bought a ticket from a scalper outside Sanford and my 8 year-old butt was so skinny I could still fit in between the two of them without them bleeding over into the other seats.

Our QB was named Belue. The Auburn fans sitting in front kept yelling "Go Big Blue". I couldn't understand why they were cheering on Buck. Dad explained I wasn't hearing them correctly.

Lost Dad last year to cancer. Second football season without him. Always hurts, but never more than this time of year.

no way in hell Kiffin goes to Auburn because he knows that would eliminate him from any possibility of ever being the HC at Alabama .... not that that's likely anyway

I am not sure why anybody would want him. Whether he goes or stays.........what happens in two/three years when his name is being tossed around again?

Who in their right minds want to go to a school refusing to pay their coach’s contract

This is the plan by LSU. Hope someone comes calling and they pay Lane's buyout so they can refund the donor that paid Kelly's.
