Is OU finally about to exact revenge on LSU?

LSU has won the last 3 by a combined score of 121-59.
This includes a national championship game win and a playoff semifinal win.
OU needs to win to get in. LSU looked like seppuku shite against WKU last night mostly due to our dogshit OL.
Feels like it’s setting up for an OU beatdown.

The WKU game doesn’t matter. LSU is never to be underestimated no matter how down they are. OU is notoriously known for getting inflated ego against down or inferior teams.
If OU wins then great.

I fully expected LSU to be very flat against WKU and not win by a lot.
However… LSU is injured and beat up bad. Too many starters are injured right now. Combine all that with an absolutely putrid offense and OU wins comfortably. Might be a game for a half. But in the second half, OU rolls.

LSU may not cross the 50. They are truly that bad on offense. The D will play hard for a half then collapse. OU by 24

It's been a long time since the last (only) time (1949).
IDC if it's a blowout or by a point so long as Venables can get a win.
On a related note, way back in October after losing 2 of 4 conference games everyone was saying Oklahoma had a good defense but unless the offense improved a lot it would not be enough to beat the other teams on their brutal SEC schedule.
Now everyone is saying if Oklahoma beats LSU they will make the CFP but having a good defense will not be enough to beat another playoff team.
If they are right they are right but so far Venables has been proving them wrong.
