Why is Texas Tech ahead of Oklahoma?

There is a lot of talk about ND vs Bama but what about Texas Tech and Oklahoma? They played 3 cupcakes and then couldn’t even run the table through the Little 12.

TT crushed 2 highly ranked teams and lost a close game. OK lost to a TX team who couldn't even beat a team that can hardly win a game. They also lost to Ole Miss who barely beat a crappy Wash State team.

If you mean BYU and Utah, those are basically mid-major programs who win in a terrible conference. Texas blew out basically every team in their last year in the Little 12. It’s a terrible conference and is only slightly better than the group of 5.

Tech lost to a good Arizona State team without their starting QB.
Texas Tech will get a bye if they win the Big 12.

OK has 2 losses to teams that didn't do much except beat OK who has struggled at times.

You mean one loss ole miss ranked 6th and Texas who will top 15 ? Your forgetting OU has beaten 5 ranked teams 4 inside committee own top 25 . Texas anything hasn’t come close to that .

You sure? SEC got embarrassed in the last playoff.by the Big 10 and ND. TT has a defense that will make them a threat.

Y'all keep going back to that every time a non SEC team is talked about yet mighty BAMA got wrecked by the team in 15th place in the ACC.

Yep and we can actually play offense AND defense. OU is one dimensional. Great D but the O is terrible. if it wasn't for that long catch and run OU would't had anything--- again.
But hats off to their D. It single-handedly beat Bama. Maybe that says more about Bama, like its not a good idea to turn the ball over.

Yeah like Kentucky, Auburn, Miss State, or even OU. OU doesn't have the offense to blow out anybody.
Personally I'd be comfortable Tech playing this OU team. We matchup very well.

Absolutely. I know this how? Teams like Texas Tech or Ohio State wouldn’t be undefeated if they had SEC schedule like OU’s.

Tech doesn't have a snowball's chance to win it all but they have a good team. they could win a game or two in the playoffs depending on who they match up with.
