Who gets priority for the final at large playoff spot if we have a wild finish?

Who has priority if these outcomes happen and there is one spot left?

Michigan upsets Ohio State but doesn't make the Big 10 game.

Texas upsets A&M

Vandy beats TN

BYU is still at one loss before the Big 12 game

I do think with the committee TX will pass Vandy in that scenario but do they hold off Michigan and pass BYU.

If TX loses does Vandy hold off Michigan and pass BYU?

Tex and vandy have a h2h tiebreaker. Vandy isn’t really in the discussion

You don't think if TX loses that Vandy could hold off MI and pass BYU?

There’s zero chance 3 big 12 teams get in so Utah is just fools gold. Texas tech is in and BYU could get in if they beat them in the championship game.

I don’t think Vandy has much of a path but they have a shot. If Ohio State beats Michigan the big ten is only getting 3 teams. Texas is dead

If Mich is a contender for the final spot they beat osu final game. That’s the best win in cfb all year and it happens at the best time. Beating Tenn and got enough arse to jump that.

If Vandy beats a ranked Tennessee in Knoxville there is no way Texas should leap frog is. If that happens this committee is a joke.

Curious to see if they let the other teams pass BYU in that situation.

TX will have a lot better wins resume and one loss was taking that hard out of conference game. I think TX would pass Vandy myself.

If BYU isn’t in the top 10, which I don’t think they will be, by time they play Texas Tech in the big 12 championship I assume they’ll be around 11 or 12 they won’t make the playoff if they lose. Miami looked good yesterday from what I saw so I would be very worried if I was Notre dame. If they end up getting put into comparative “pools” Miami will get their at large spot. At that point they could be a Michigan win over OSU from missing the playoffs

If tex and vandy have the same record that means Tex just beat aggie(better win than Tenn) won h2h over vandy. the committee is a joke if the put vandy over Tex in that scenario

No chance ND misses the playoffs at 10-2.

None.

The only way I can see them missing the playoffs is if Michigan pulls off the best win of the year at the end and make the big 10 championship at 10-2. This will get them a spot. Both Miami and ND to varying degrees are counting on the big 10 only getting 3 and they’re praying BYU doesn’t upset Tech and the big 12 getting 2.

The last thing you want is to be idle and on the fringe during conf champ week

Especially if you have 3 losses

This is what happens when you frick shite up, completely trash the week to week significance of the regular season, and end up arguing about 2-loss and possibly 3-loss garbage teams having a chance at a Natty.

7-9 Seahawks in the playoffs, here we come!

Texas has 3 loses.

Shouldn't be in the equation with 2 loss teams.

H2H much? While you were playing VA tech we played Ohio state.

Either give credit for OOC schedules or cancel them altogether and schedule a bottom dweller P4 for everyone

Except one of the losses was a non conference season opener against the number one team on their field (and was within a TD).

You’d be punishing teams with the stones to schedule tough non conference games if you go solely off win/ loss. We can’t all play Mercer and Samford every week.

Your OOC and many others is a joke. You can’t just rank teams based on W-L without any context. If that’s the case let the G5 and all big 12 1 loss teams in over all 2 loss teams! Goes both ways Vandy
