I wanted the Aggies to offer Kiffin after we fired Jimbo

A lot of people laughed at Aggies for hiring Elko. Personally I feel like we dodged a 44 magnum.
Elko turned down more money from Pedo State to stay with the Aggies and make sure his assistants have the same performance bonus structure he does.
All the Assistants about to get some big performance bonuses.

Kiffin is Fisher 2.0.

You guys didn’t dodge a .44 magnum. You guys dodge a ICBM lol.

Except Kiffin runs a good offense, which was most of Jimbo's problem.

He had already been here before for years and knew a lot of the current roster. He knew we could finance a better team. Easy jump for him because he already had love for the place.
Duke hired him away from us, we returned the favor.

when Saban retired, Kiffin was my strong 2nd choice behind Sark and Lanning (who was a long shot). If Kiffen leaves Ole Miss teams arse hanging out the in breeze with this talk to leave for... anywhere... when they're in the hunt for the playoffs then I've lost all respect for him

Get your facts straight. Duke wasn't lined up to play for a national championship.

Duke wasn't lined up to play for a national championship.
If this was happening right before the semi final Round of the playoffs I’d say so.
With expanded playoffs tons of teams get in that have no shot at a championship. Look at Boise and SMU and Clemson last year
The fact is Elko left Duke in a way that left bad tastes in their mouth just like lane MIGHT do

Don’t forget our laughing at you for hiring Stoops.

And he's gonna be stomped by LSU and Lane Kiffin for years to come.

No. We would have ponied up.
A&M has never lost a coach over money.

Wouldn’t that make him your 3rd choice? I’m no mathematician.

Dude we did pony up. Elko got over 11 million per year with a massive bonus structure for his assistants.
I don't know what Pedo State offered but am confidant it was less than this total.
