Biggest takeaway is they will reduce capacity to 73,000. It will now be the 12th largest stadium in its own conference.
Fans arent liking it online. They even are doing a high wall on the lower level to separate the poors from the others. Looks odd

450 million project adding more suites and booster seats . Apparently selling out for 27 years straight means we don’t need more seats we need less …. OU athletics selling out for bigger companies over fans who actually care imo. They are saying the next renovation will complete the north end and get us back over 90k but I bet it takes ten years to do it .

Agreed. I don’t like it at all. Stupid really.

It’s crazy all the blowback online. I wonder if they reconsider

Heavy on the gay. Quite the tackle box.

That giant side of suites looks like a tornado's wet dream.

Can't afford to compete in the NIL era, about to go the Nebraska route

Texass is one of the top five NIL spenders, yet they’re currently looking at CFP from the outside.

Nebraska had 3 major problems...
1) Joined a new conference when they were a middling team
2) Cut off every single historical rival they have ever known
3) Were the furthest out geographical team and unknown to new conference recruiting base
Had they gone into the B1G back when they were cracking skulls they would have been fine but the midwest and north east kids that watch B1G football saw them come in bungling I mean shite look at their record vs Wisconsin.
OU is on the geographic NW boundary of the SEC the way Texas is on the SW but they have Texas and Mizzou plus a bit of history with aggy.
They will probably never be the Oklahoma of old but they won't fall so far off the cliff that they spend 6 weeks in the top 10 in 15 years the way Nebraska did.
