Just for fun. Here are mine with some explaination.
Top 3
A&M, Inidian, and Ohio State in whatever order. Undefeated SEC or Big 10 get preference. Based on body of work/schedule, I'll go:
1. Texas A&M
2. Indiana
3. Ohio State
4 to 12
4. Georgia (1 loss to top 10 team, 3 ranked wins, head to head over OM)
5. Ole Miss (1 loss top 5 team, 2 ranked wins)
6. Texas Tech (1 loss to ranked team, 3 ranked wins)
7. BYU (1 loss to top 10 team, 1 ranked win
8. Oregon (1 loss to top 3 team, 0 ranked wins)
9. Oklahoma (2 losses to ranked teams, 3 ranked wins, head to head over Bama)
10. Alabama (1 loss to Top 10 team, 1 loss to unranked team, 4 ranked wins)
11. Miami (2 losses to unranked teams, 1 ranked win, head to head over ND)
12. Vanderbilt (2 losses to ranked teams, 1 ranked win)
On the Bubble
13. Notre Dame (2 losses to ranked teams, 1 ranked win)
14. GA Tech (1 loss to unranked team, 0 ranked wins)
15. Utah (2 losses to ranked teams, 1 ranked win)
What says the committee of the rant?

Don't you have to throw a weak arse Team from one of the weak arse conferences in there? There is not reason to have A&M ahead of Ohio State. OSU has done nothing to lose the #1 spot.

Based on deserving, I would lean towards this as personal bracket:
1. OSU (defending champs, 1 ranked win)
2. IU (undefeated, 2 ranked wins)
3. A&M (undefeated, 2 ranked win)
4. UGA (best 1 loss resume)
5. TTU (2nd best 1 loss resume)
6. OM (3rd best 1 loss resume)
7. OR (4th best 1 loss resume)
8. OU (best 2 loss resume)
9. UA (2nd best 2 loss resume)
10. ND (3rd best 2 loss resume)
11. GT (most likely ACC winner)
12. UNT (most likely AAC winner)

I disagree with this approach. OSU does not automatically get the #1 spot in 2025 based off 2024 or preseason rankings. A&M and Indiana both have better wins.

OSU has done nothing to lose the #1 spot.
Strictly speaking, you are correct.
As the undefeated reigning National Champion they should be ranked #1.
For arguments sake considering only what has transpired in the 2025 season Ohio State's best wins are over three 7-3 teams.
I rank them like this:
1. Indiana
2. Ohio State
3. Texas A&M
4. Texas Tech
5. Georgia
6. Mississippi
7. BYU
8. Oregon
Here's where it gets wonky, a whole lot of 2-loss teams and Georgia Tech vying for the spots below 8.
Rankings for the 9-12 spots is subject to bias.
We need another week of games to see which teams are still at 2 losses and then let the arguments begin.

I think a question to ask is what criteria do you value. For me it would be:
Wins and Losses
Quality of wins and losses
Strength of schedule
Willingness to schedule difficult OOC games
Margin of victory/control of games that are red or green flags
Recent success or failures ie who looks like they are fading or going on a run
By that I'd go:
1.Ohio State
Undefeated and while they haven't played a tough schedule they have won all of their games handily. I'd reward them for scheduling and beating Texas as well.
2 A&M
Also undefeated and while you can poke holes in the schedule they did schedule at ND and they have played in some tough road environments and won handily. Playing 3 straight SEC road games is also no joke to go 3-0, I don't care who they are.
3. Indiana
Undefeated and have a couple of nice wins. Lost points though for not only scheduling no one OOC but bragging about dropping Louisville to add Indiana State to make their lives easier. If you don't suffer a penalty for that you will see an end to anyone scheduling decent OOC games and that's bad for the sport. If they win out though they will be fine but they made a choice.
4. Georgia
Definitely the strongest team with 1 loss. Hard to have them jump and undefeated though because even though that loss was to Bama it was at home and they went to the mat with a few others, really haven't looked dominant until the last 2 games.
5. Ole Miss
Solid schedule with some nice wins and only loss to UGA at their house. Biggest win is OU.
6.Texas Tech
One loss team but have dominated most of their games and have 2 nice wins over Utah and BYU. ASU loss is bad (ASU has no business being ranked either).
7. Oklahoma
2 loss team but brutal schedule and losses to really good teams. Obviously impressive win over Bama on the road.
8. Bama
2 loss team with an ugly loss and a reasonable loss but 4 quality wins including the best win of the season at UGA. Without that loss UGA is #1.
9. Oregon
1 loss team but no real quality wins. USC game is huge for them.
10. Notre Dame
2 loss team with close losses to good teams early. Won every game since by double digits but best wins over USC and Pitt. Playing excellent football right now.
11. Vanderbilt
2 loss team but best quality win is Missouri.
12. Miami
2 loss team but probably the most inconsistent. Huge win over ND but doubt they do that if they played again. 2 bad losses. This is the hardest one for me and I could see putting them over ND because of that H2H. Cristobal is also a complete idiot so I'm biased.
13. BYU
Lowest ranked 1 loss team. They have played 2 teams with a pulse and got blown out in one of them and squeaked out against a meh Utah team. Problem with the B12 teams is outside of Tech who is buying talent they may have 2 or 3 players tops that would start for another Top 10, the dropoff in athleticism is dramatic.
The other teams that could jump in the picture with big wins are USC, Georgia Tech, Michigan, and maybe Texas. Obviously you will have a G5 and ACC team get in as well. The rest don't matter.
