Texas it 17th with 3 losses, above four 2 loss teams and two 1 loss teams in top 25.

I think the media is just desperate to create any kind of hope for them

Notre Dame is a much better football team than Texas. Texas should be in the “also receiving votes category.”

Texas has 2 losses to the top 4 teams in the nation and two wins over top 15 teams.
That resume is better than big 12 and Acc teams playing nobodies. Should we be 17, probably not I'd say 20 but it isn't egregious.

One of the reasons I’m glad we have the playoff now
Teams that would be left off because they didn’t win the beauty contest, but were much better teams now get a shot to play their way to a championship

Preseason Rankings
By my count, 11 of the teams listed in the preseason top 25 are not currently ranked.
Texas is one of the teams consistently overrated. Historical bias is real, and another reason why the playoff should be expanded.

No Team in the Country does less with more......
Send some of that oil money our way and we will demonstrate how it's done.
The rankings committees have become akin to figure skating judges. Total bias and irrelevant to talent.

Notre Dame is brilliant. Schedule two hard games a season, lose two games a season, make the 12-team playoff every year.

OT wins over bottom dweller SEC teams.
Best win was over team whose QB was clearly not ready after thumb surgery to throwing hand.
I mean, the eyeball test easily shows they are not close to a playoff team.
You are just like the Texas players, have no idea where your team stands and it's the reason they are average.

They really shouldn’t do any polls until the end of October. Every year the pre-season polls are proven to be garbage. Just wait and see how everyone really looks.
