What has the highest probability of derailing your program?

For Alabama, it is a fanbase with unrealistic expectations who have forgotten what the Mike years were like.

What is the biggest threat to your school’s football program?

Someone hiring Lane Kiffin is probably the biggest threat to Ole Miss currently.

Heupels constant faith in his coaching staff. In 5 years he has never fired anyone. There is no accountability within the coaching ranks. If vols are going to take next step then Heup needs to making some staff adjustments

Our FG kicker. Have you seen the guy? He doesn't just miss field goals. They are so bad they plunk the cheerleaders in the head.

We need Oklahoma's FG kicker in the daisy dukes. The guy hits everything inside 60. He has to be the front runner for the Lou Groza.

Exactly. We will wind up throwing away/running off pretty good because it isn't generationally great, with no backup plan.

Moronic take. The AL fan base is one of the program’s biggest assets. The financial support and fan engagement are critical aspects of our historic performance.

In your view, lowering our expectations would make us a significantly stronger program? Nonsense.

The biggest threat to all SEC is Lane Kiffin ending up at either Florida or LSU. That’s dangerous to the rest of the SEC

You have Alabama fans today on this message board saying Deboer should be fired.

They don’t know where the $61 million dollars to pay the buyout will come from. And they don’t have an idea who a better replacement coach would be. But they are certain Deboer should be fired.

Friend, that is not an asset.

The people who are in actual positions of authority at Alabama are logical and levelheaded. The same for those who contribute the bulk of contributions.

But many everyday fans act like spoiled children throwing a tantrum in the grocery store aisle when Alabama loses.

Having overly emotional, irrational fans acting like petulant children certainly doesn’t make Alabama a stronger program. A lot of grownup Alabama fans simply need to act like grownups. It is possible to have high expectations and yet not act like teenage girls when faced with adversity.
