Bama Logo twat.

Honestly this has to be the most embarassing thing anyone directly related to school has done this entire season. The fricking field already has a 6' wrought iron fence around it. Apparently not enough protection.
Now they rope off the logo after the game? For what?? 22 people with cleats just ran, pushed, dug in, fumbled and threw interceptions, etc.. for 60 minutes. What can any player do to grass with a logo painted on it? It needs to be protected? Protection from what... photos?? Good lord.
If Bama is worried about someone poisoning the grass under the emblem there is no need to. It's already established that plant poisoners are Bama fans.

Do they do this when the home team wins?
If not…

Extras in this weekend’s games forced their way into unearned screen time with Bama Karen and DPS Officer going off script.

Bama Karen was so serious it was hilarious.
What’s she going to do if those 10+ players refuse to leave, by the way (kudos to them for being respectful)? Call security? Make a non-issue into a big issue?

What would you like for us to do about it?
I’m pretty sure they rope it off at the end of every game. Why else would they have the ropes and all prepared and ready to go?
Obviously she’s been assigned the task of making sure no one crosses those ropes as part of her job. Seems like she was just doing the task she was assigned to do.
If anyone has a big issue with it, they should contact the UA athletic department and ask why the logo gets roped off at the end of games.

TBH, I would hire her for a role that required confidence and firmness.

The school owns the field and has the right to run it the way it wants to. You may not like it, but no one gives two pickled turds what you like. I'm sure after what happened in the Michigan/OSU state game a few years ago where a big brawl broke out because the winning team wanted to have some extra fun on the logo, Bama took precaution. It's not that deep dude, quit trying to make into something.

This is really really reaching for a reason to insult us. Get off the internet and enjoy your day.

Typical Bama twats.
Try acting like adults, if possible. May not be possible for you gumps.

This is the part I don't understand.
In another thread I have been told bama fans never go on the field after a game.
Given that bama was on a 17-game home winning streak and it was homecoming (i.e. they expected to win) what is the point in that?
Visiting teams don't hang around after a loss, they duck and run for the lockerroom.
Why the need to cordon off the midfield logo?
Makes no sense . . . unless it is a residual from Baker Mayfield's now legendary flag plant at OSU.

Obviously they need to protect it from any damage after:
-pregame warmups on it
-the pregame festivities on it
-30 minutes of play on the surface on it
-the halftime show on it
and
-30 more minutes of play on it
Apparently they only paint it once a year or something.

Neither I, nor any other Bama fans here, have any control over whether the rope the logo off, though. That’s my point.

It's one thing to tell them to not go beyond the ropes, it's another to start yelling to "get out of here" while pointing towards the locker rooms. She went over the line just like they went over the ropes.

That’s a picture from like a decade ago, so perhaps they didn’t do it back then.
I don’t know why they do it or when they started doing it. Everyone on this site can complain about it, but no Bama fan here can do anything about it.

Remember when you guys were taking pieces of the hedges at Sanford after your road win and UGA staffers came out and ran you off? Yeah, nobody else does either. Honestly this is second only to Ohio trying to pass laws...sorry...didn't mean to give you any ideas.
