That he tried his best to throw the game to his future team but Chucky Weis prevented it

I lied on the rant about what I heard and they bit. So don’t take what I said seriously

That's what I was wondering about.

Yeah his post game comments didn't exactly breed confidence. We do need to know before the playoffs though - if he's leaving we need time to conduct our own search

Yeah I’m actually pissed off about it. If he is staying, that’s a disrespectful arse answer to your employer and the fans that just packed the stadium for you against the team you’re supposedly leaving us for.

Carter needs to put his foot down and tell Lane and Sexton we need an answer before the Egg Bowl or Lane isn’t coaching the playoff game and isn’t allowed contact with the players

Yep. Force an answer. If needed, let Joe Judge be the interim and role with him to finish the season

I wonder what his contract states about actively coaching and whether that constitutes being let go or not. If it’s strung out too long it bones us completely

They lob him a softball and all he has to do is say wow this is awesome, I love Oxford , it’s where I wanna be.. as a matter of fact.. pregame I signed a new extension with Keith. I’m committed. Here is a QR code for the grove collective by the way wink wink. I’m all in… are you?

Mic drop and walk away

But no.. he brings up the citadel for some damn reason and wants to be the victim. He has issues. It’s the truth.

I completely agree. Let/s get on with it. It’s just time. Either he is with us for what I’m sure is an astronomical amount we are willing to pay him, or he’s not. At any rate, it’s time we know. the oppostion can laugh poke fun or whatever they want but It’s just fair.

He got his feelings hurt by Keith last week, but he’s not going anywhere.

I did notice the hug from Keith coming off the field was a little less reciprocal than it has been in the past. I don’t buy into the body language stuff much but that threw up a little red flag in my head

We need to force an answer during the bye week. Regardless of how it looks or the answer, we need to force the point so we have time to move on and prepare accordingly

But Lane also apparently tackled Keith’s wife after the game so I dunno if that’s a good hug or a I’m cucking you hug.

What did KC do to ruffle Lane’s feathers?

Having spent 7 years with a kid who has it in a big way, I think I’m ready to diagnose Lane with your run-of-the-mill Oppositional Defiance Disorder. He means well, and he’s not really a jerk or trolling his own fanbase. It’s that he’d almost rather die than bow the knee and do what people are telling him to do, even if he wants to.

I get that too. Probably part of what makes him a good coach. What exactly did he say? The atmosphere was electric. Looks fantastic on television.
