LSU with arguably the best college QB of all time and indisputably the greatest college pitcher of all time... both with some nice hardware and natties.

When you have a sub 2.0 ERA and a .500 winning record, that is some epic level lack of run support.

Jamarcus Russell is nowhere close to the GOAT college QB. Hell, Arizona State’s Jayden Daniels and Ohio State’s Joe Burrow were both better within the last few years

And thats really where it needs to stay. He and the team had one of the best seasons ever. Its too subjective to say best ever because you have to bring in different eras, rules, the size of the players, etc. There are two many variables.
