That's the kind of logic I hear from clients way more often than I would like.
The whole litigation thing is just hilarious. I initially thought Kelly and LSU would make a deal on a reduced payout so that they wouldn't have to argue over whether Kelly had done enough to mitigate, but now, LSU has basically destroyed any basis for claiming that Kelly should be able to get a decent job. They'd better just go ahead and settle before this turns off all the decent candidates for the job.
