To make Brian Kelly of all people to be the sympathetic figure in this shite show.
He will find a way to get more than 54 million and people will be okay with it. And he will- he’s that big of an a hole.

He will get way less than $54M. Why would you not accept a lump sum payout when you are required to look for work and that new pay offsets the buyout?

Because you can accept a new job and be paid next to nothing while your new employer puts that extra cash to other things. Also there are always ways to rewrite the language to benefit your new employer.

Pretty self explanatory. Plus multiple sources have said he still wants to coach. He would be ignorant to not accept a lump sum. This is just a tactic to get a one.

If they give him $40 to $45 million and an apology today, this all goes away. Thats what LSU should do. I don’t know that they will though.

Then explain it. Exactly what level of effort does he need to put in to satisfy the terms of the contract? How do we know he's not doing that?
If I'm BK and his lawyers, I think that I could make an equally compelling argument that LSU damaged my ability to obtain meaningfully employment with the things said about me in the recent past.

You sound like he didn’t do the things he was accused of. The university kept most it hush hush. No one was drug through the mud.

You think Kelly filed suit against LSU for breach of contract as a tactic to get them to offer him a lump sum?
Kelly should get every dollar coming to him.
