I’m aware of and acknowledge everything that has been discussed here the last few days. I know there are issues. I know we can’t run the ball for caca. I’m not pumping sunshine.
But I woke up this morning thinking I’ll be damned if I’m going to go into this game in a spirit of fear or thinking that we’re beat before there’s a snap in the game.
Downvote me massively or get on board, whatever floats your boat, but I’m going to have confidence that my team will find a way to get this done until I’m proven wrong.

If the defense can stop Mateer from getting yards with his legs and cover Sategna, we should be in good shape. Just need our running game to make a halfass appearance.

Not sure what OU has done against literally any good team this year to make everyone think they're just going to run over Bama this weekend.

I figure it will be close just like almost every game this year. Without a running game we just cannot dominate good teams.

It's a revenge game and we are on a revenge tour. And it's at home. Bama wins it. Oklahoma's secondary is not very good. I expect ty to get sharp again

I think the potential is there to win an ugly one by two scores. Defensively I think we can smother them.
Offensively I expect some more of the same. 2-3 really good efficient drives that result in a TD, a short field drive that results in a TD, and a lot of drives that are like pulling teeth- just hope we can find come points along the way in those type of drives.

We haven’t beaten anyone’s arse all year. We won’t beat anyone’s arse this Saturday. I do however think we will win in ugly fashion. At the end of the day all we need is a W. This team never quits and the fight amongst them is pretty remarkable.

Don't mind the optimism but if you watch their DL I'm not sure how you can be super confident. They're going to come after Ty every single play since the tape has been confirmed time and time again that our run game is atrocious.

Glad we are playing this one at home. They'll be the best total defense we've played all season. I like the matchup of our defense vs their offense though. Sure would be nice if we can get our offense firing on all cylinders.

They have to contend with our defense also. We are 8–1. It hasn’t all been pretty but people in general seem hyper critical this year.

The weird thing is even without a run game we will have stretches of drives where we absolutely carve teams up. Then the execution just falls off. Even when plays are there in the passing game. Feels like it’s a total team effort to always keep the games close

Running game is so bad it totally cancels out the only thing the OU defense does really well.

Lets just go Air Raid on them, fill the skies. Tire them out trying to rush the passer.Dont throw everything 25 yards downfield, possess the ball and wear them down.

I’m not betting against this team because they’ve been finding a way but this game is our biggest test. I think they are a tougher matchup than UGA albeit UGA having more overall talent imo. Not that OU lacks for it.
