They might just make a run at the playoffs

They will get more of a media push than similar programs who are probably better.

This is true and unbelievable. The talking heads commonly leave out the loss to FL and talk about playing the #1 team in the country week 1. They also forget to mention going to OT with Miss St and Ky. I get it. A win is a win but are they the best 2 loss team in the country? Doubtful.

If they Beat Georgia and A&M, they won't need a media push.

Why don't you offer alternatives?
Only one that has a case is ND. And people bitch about that too. Everyone is overrated. Yet no one offers alternatives

It’s tough to say. It’s between them and ND, IMO. Texas has better wins, but they also have worse losses. Still, they’re improving. I don’t think this Texas team, as it is now, would struggle too badly against Kentucky, Florida, or State if they were to play again.

Brand is doing all the heavy lifting right now. Texas is not anything more than what it is - a 2-loss team, and possibly should be 3.

Now if Texas beats Georgia ( ) then the narrative changes on a dime.

If Texas beats Georgia and A&M, they deserve to host a playoff game for sure. They’d have easily the best wins in the country (especially at Athens).

If I had said, "bare in mind" you could have really had a field day.

Have you paid attention to our season?

We’re lucky to have 1 loss.

Doesn’t matter, because in three weeks you’ll be asking, “Is Texas the best 8-4 team in the country?” At that point, who cares.

The interesting aspect of this season is how the Georgia staff has developed the younger players.

And now that the starting O-line is completely healthy, and deeper with the now experienced freshmen, it is full speed ahead.

It is simple... If we beat Texas we are in the playoffs.

No not even close.

But if they somehow beat Georgia and lose to A&M, their 9-3 resume with two losses to Top 2 teams would likely get them in. Crazy to think but Texas just needs one win and they are probably a playoff lock.

Texas literally just struggled in their last game which was against Miss St.
