I almost wish that we could’ve traded off either MSU or Tennessee and kept LSU as our permanent opponent. I know I’m in the minority on the Tennessee series, but Volnation doesn’t do it for me as far as quality melts are concerned.

Although parity is better than anytime I can recall, and better than that dysfunctional East vs West division rivalry -- a strong LSU is needed by this conference.
With 3 relevant national championships and a recent Heisman winner, I'm certain that program is only missing key components, to being back in the hunt.

It's sad to see this rivalry not be played every year. LSU is one of Bama's three biggest rivals, along with Tennessee and Auburn.
