After the FSU game did anyone see this being possible? I thought we was headed for at least a couple dark years just being honest.

If we play like we did last night, it's very possible.

Best 1 or both Oklahoma and Auburn we are going to the SECCG.

Playoff seems like a go but I want us to beat Oklahoma. We owe them. This game has been circled, just like Vandy, and UT.

I wonder if OU installed a completely new offense in their bye week like they did last year

We owe them. That was embarrassing last year.

Can someone explain the possibilities regarding who might be playing in the sec championship game?

Technically no. If Florida were to beat Tennessee and Mizzou lose to MS St that would would put Georgia above us.

SEC TieBreaker

Here is the link. You can play out all the matchups and it will tell you who gets in. The only way I se Bama getting left out would be for Florida to beat Tennessee and Ms St to beat Mizzou. That's assuming Bama wins one of the next two SEC games.

It’s simple actually

Win Oklahoma and Auburn we are in

Win 1 of Oklahoma or Auburn we are in

Lose both, out

I cant find a scenario where Bama beats either Oklahoma or Auburn and gets left out

If Bama beats Oklahoma and loses to AU and then loses to whoever in the SECCG Bama may get left out. I'm not sure if the committee has said anything about that.

If Bama finishes 10-2 with a loss to either AU or Oklahoma they're in the SEC title game.

If UGA loses to Texas this weekend and Texas also beats TAMU then Bama would play Ole Miss in the SECCG. If UGA wins out and TAMU loses to anyone else in the SEC then Bama plays UGA. If TAMU wins out then Bama plays them.

Essentially the only team that can drop a game and still be in the SECCG is Alabama. We are a lock as long as we beat OU or AU. TAMU has to win out or they fall out and UGA and Ole Miss have to win out and hope TAMU loses plus some other shenanigans.

Sorry, but a 3 loss team is always going to be walking a razors edge with the most likely scenario of missing out. Especially with Florida State now being an absolutely atrocious loss.

I'd say we've had the most difficult path to navigate, playing multiple ranked teams in succession with most of them coming off bye weeks. That said, the committees have shown a preference to ignore strength of schedule.
