On November 7th 2015, Heisman favorite Leonard Fournette rolls into Tuscaloosa with the #2 team in the country, averaging 193 rushing yards per game with 15 TD's and 1,352 yards on the ground. Dude had been a human highlight reel all season up to that point.

He ended the game with:
19 carries
31 yards
1.6 ypc
1 TD (after 'Bama DPI put the ball on the 2 yard line)

Meanwhile, Derrick Henry only had 900 rushing yards, 13 TD's, and was averaging a measly 180 yards per game.

He ended the game with:
38 carries
210 yards
5.5 ypc
3 TD's

After the entire 'Bama defense, from the biggest DLineman to the smallest DB, got a turn taking Fournette down, Henry emerged as the Heisman favorite and ended up breaking Herschel Walker's 1981 SEC record with 2,219 yards and 28 TD's, including a 19 game streak of consecutive games played with a rushing TD, while also going on to win the SEC, national title, and the Heisman trophy.

Fournette and LSU then went on a 3-game losing streak to Arkansas and Ole Miss.

Henry was a complete beast. I remember him playing us and asking myself why Saban would call any play not involving giving the ball to DH.

The Corndogs made mountains of posts on tRant worshipping Fournette, yet when it came down to brass tacks he wilted like a corndog dropped in a beer mug. Good times.

McCaffrey was great, and any other year would have won it, but the only teams on Stanford's schedule that ended the season ranked were Notre Dame (#12) and Iowa in their bowl game (#9.)

Henry did what he did against an SEC West schedule and continued on into the playoffs and NC game. He was great every week from week 1 to the national title game.

I remember when people were always talking about how Saban was going to use Henry up because of all the touches he got.

The guy was just a freak. The more touches he got, the better he got. Probably would have beat Oklahoma in 2014 if we feed him more. I guess his run blocking wasn't good enough yet or something, I don't know.

I saw a clip the other day of Saban talking about his favorite players and he named 5 off. Henry was one of them.

To be fair to Leonard.... His idiot coach didn't help him out very much. Hard to run against 11 in the box.

Of course he knows what year it is.

Problem is that he can’t count past five.

Yeah Tua was completely injured that season. He was not in the Heisman race in any way at that point.

The narration created by the poster about teenagers playing football is possibly one of the most cuck-ish things I’ve ever read.

“From the biggest d lineman to the smallest DB” dude you are a fricking dork. Get a life

Are you aware that punctuation exists? Also, Florida is irrelevant.
