With the higher seed playing at home.

It would make for better experiences and better environments.

And render all bowls meaningless? Good luck with that.

We have stripped away a lot of things to change this sport most of us love into something most of us dont recognize anymore. That would take away from the prestige of the few remaining post season games with have left.

Agreed. Imagine a year Boise State lucks into the title game as a higher seed than their opponent and the media has to set up cameras for a title game on that dog shite blue field

Would be entertaining to watch ESPN whine about it

Comprehension is too. On campus means that all CFP games would be played outside of bowls.

They should wait until the final four to start the neutral site/bowl games. Three neutral site games is kind of ridiculous and too much traveling for fans. Conference championship games would mean more if you're playing for a home playoff game on top of sitting out round 1.

Of course there's too many bowls that need to be fed so this would never actually happen.

So long as it's played on Saturday I don't care where they play it. Hate the Monday night shite

I agree with you but the OU poster is correct. The only reason we have the expanded CFP is because the bowls agreed to it... and the Rose Bowl had to be strong-armed into agreement.

Nothing like a big game in front of a home crowd.

Penn State would put on a show.

Bad, no terrible, idea. A better idea would be to eliminate the CFP altogether.

Agreed. That would be badass and would almost account for the otherwise massive dilution of both the regular and post seasons we’re seeing. But it won’t happen, and you know why.

I prefer the Saturday game, but why are you against Monday night?

Everything in the U.S. is viewed through the lens of capital first.

If it doesn't make money, it doesn't make sense.

No, it shouldn’t.

Combine a January semi-final game in Ann Arbor, South Bend, or Columbus with a winter storm and see what a disaster that idea is.
