Simmer down Rebs. It’s not about Lane staying or going or tweeting.

Auburn is the best open job in the SEC. I can at least entertain that argument but wait til you hear that argument.

Man if Peter Burns is saying it, then stop the presses. It's a done deal. AU is clearly the best and all the other openings are shite. Peter Burns has deemed it so.

Never heard him before this but his take is bad.

Bianchi out Orlando might be worse though.

Bianchi is by far the worst. He just trolls for clicks. It’s pathetic “journalism.”

This will be their 4th HC in 6 years. How can that be deemed the best open job in the SEC? And no, I did not listen to the Peter Burns interview. Don't need to.

They've won like 8 National Championships this fall alone.

It'd be tough to find anyone rational who disagrees.

You’ll enjoy his reasoning. Good for a laugh to start the day. I actually did laugh.

Could very well be.

I believe LSU has hurt itself with how they handled the Kelly departure.

In addition, coaches know that both LSU and UF will fire your arse quickly if you lose the fan base. It’s a lot of money. It it’s also a lot of pressure at programs that traditionally win 9 games a year and expect to win the National Title each year

Hire me for the job. I'll be cheap at 5 million a year. I'll hire coordinators and stay out of their way for the entire season. I will shout obscenities at reporters.

Sign me to a 5 year contract and I guarantee the strip clubs in the Auburn area will prosper. I might go to Atlanta for the really sleazy clubs though.

Side benefit, all of you Auburn fans can clear up your Fall schedule.

They pay the most for the least amount of work. That's the job everyone wants.

Why is it bad news for Arkansas? We already have our coach now we are just trying to make the others schools have to pay more

We have recent history on our side.

Our last coach stayed for 3.5 years, won 7 National Championships, played 764 rounds of golf, and then was given 15 million to go on permanent vacation. Tell me another school that can compete with that?

Crazy thing about AU is they seem win something or be building something then fall off a cliff only to climb back on it.
