Obviously they are well-balanced offensively and a D.
Does Kirby allow Zollers to throw it down field, or do we see the same play calls? I'd love to see a play action bomb to Johnson on the first play.
How will we choose to defend Marcell Reed? Batoon and Drink should be familiar with his game. We've been prepping for him for over a year now.

Their D doesn't seem impressive from what I see. I'm sure they have some athletes.

I know they are good on 3rd down and have edge rushers that are very good. I think their secondary is their weakness. Will the O-line give Zollers time to test it? If so, then it could get interesting.

Hopefully we will see lots of passes to Johnson and Olugbude that will leave us asking what have we been doing all year up to this point. Also think the Double J kid at tight end could be utilized well. Agree the O-line play will likely have a huge part in Zoller's success.
Thinking our defense can keep the same concepts we used against Pavia for Reed.

I agree with what nuke said the other day. If Norfleet isn't winning his battles at the LOS, then we need more 4 wide sets and very little 12 personnel.

The offense should let it all hang out. No reason not to.
We should look at this like we are playing with house money. Let QB Z throw it all around the field - play action baby!

I love that mentality, but we know that's not what's gonna go down.

Layer shite all day the rest of the season. Big big or go home. We have a true frosh starting.
Waste of time of development to play it safe.

I liked Missouri's chances in this game until Beau fell off the table throwing the ball.
aTm has a very aggressive front 7......but they aren't always great at run fits and dont always tackle well at the second level and beyond. I think their #3 and #4 cover options have been hidden by the play of the front 7. Zollers is going to have to get the ball out and Moore is going to have use Hardy and Roberts in something other than wide zone to the boundary. Their LBs are fast but aren't gap fillers. Counter and split zone to the field should work if they flow the boundary like Auburn did.
The defensive tackles have their hands full this week. aTm's offensive tackles get the publicity but their interior oline is the best in the nation IMO. Keeping Trotter and Newson clean and Reed in the pocket will require the absolute best of what McClellan, Gracial, and Webb bring to the table.
Our secondary will get exposed if Young and Wilson cant get the edge. Their WRs are elite in all phases.
The defense keeps it close but Reed will make a few more plays.

One thing I noticed is Zollers looked comfortable drifting left in the pocket vs Vandy, the TD and another 4th down conversion being examples that come to mind. I would expect Elko to test the left side early.

Yes. His mobility within the pocket was with purpose, not scattershot.
I don't recall but did he ever move up in the pocket to make a pass? His pocket awareness looks promising.

The entire outcome of this game lies upon our O Line...
A&M will be rushing a true freshman every play to get in his head. "If" our O Line steps up and gives him time he can skewer the A&Z secondary. In the mean time, for the love of all things, give Hardy the ball please.

Their defense isn't that salty. We lit them up like a cheap cigar and other than our two rent a wins they are the only team Arkansas faced this year that didn't shut our offense down in the 4th quarter.
I don't think y'all can dink and dunk it all game for the win. A couple of play action bombs could reap big rewards.
One advantage you have, and I don't mean this as an insult, is that they are flying high and could over look this game. Which would be profoundly stupid on their part.

After watching some film of aTm it is obvious that their defense isn't salty. I agree with you on trying to go down the field as well. Kirby needs to attack with our QBs strength. I think a lot of Mizzou fans would agree.

I think Missouri can do it.

Haven't put much into it. Not that the season is over but Pribula no matter how bad he was, isn't here and he still got more experience than Zollers.
Matty Z might be great from the jump but he gotta do it and im not expecting him to do it.
By all means prove me wrong I hope Mizzou wins but im gonna be indifferent even if we get blown out.
Beat Aggie, Cowbells, then Zero U and ill get all excited again.

Pribula's arm talent and vision put a ceiling on the offense.

I don't get this. It's entertainment. I used to love listening to Cards games and filling out a box score (one I sometimes made on my own with ruler and pencil.) I've watched Mizzou, Blues and Cards rebuilds where the team was terrible, but I enjoyed seeing the growth of players.
I may tune out announcers, but I watch every play to see who did their job and how well.
