Man just looking at that on a map and that is one winding, long arse, trip.

This is 1000% the kinda thing I’d do if I was retired or had enough passive income

He got there a week ahead and got the last slip at Vol Navy. No one there knew what Boomer Sooner was but they learnt (learned for those more formal folks). His wife didn’t go on the boat lol, she went later. He’s actually from Mustang (burb of OKC), so that is one hell of a trip.
Thats why the move to SEC was so great. New and better venues and game week/day experiences.

And, so peaceful without the wife aboard

I hope someone in a nearby boat played Okie from Muskogee.

There's a mapped loop down the Mississippi around the Gulf and up the Eastern seaboard and across the Great Lakes that takes around 6 months to complete. I contemplate doing that in retirement from time to time.

Huck Finn would have made it in 6.

That's pretty cool. I wish I had a bunch of money and a few weeks to waste. I'd bring my "boat" all over too.

Beautiful time of year to do it, too.
