Not headline news of the day. Not nearly as fun as coaches getting whacked left and right.

Two B1G teams who have barely played a team with a pulse are sitting at the top. What a surprise.

What this says to me is that Vandy has peaked. They need a lot of help to make it, no more quality wins available on their schedule

And Texas and Oklahoma must win out. Another L and they are done

Also, Michigan and USC could make huge jumps in the next few weeks

Tennessee shouldn't be ranked, or Cincinnati

Ohio State, Indiana and Ole Miss have the best odds of making the playoff right now

So this will be the first CFP poll. Pathetic

Yep. You had to play Texas. We got to play teams like OU.

Actually I don’t think Ohio State will be number 1 in the first CFP.

If this is the CFP, Oklahoma would be first team out of playoff.

1 Ohio State
9 Texas Tech at 8 Brigham Young

4 Alabama
12 Memphis at 5 Georgia

2 Indiana
10 Notre Dame at 7 Ole Miss

3 Texas A&M
11 Virginia at 6 Oregon

Everyone in the Top 25 but Tennessee and Washington has a path to the playoff.

Oregon has done absolutely nothing to deserve their ranking. They make Notre Dame look deserving.

I hate to break it to you but there is a very real chance Texas gets in with 3 losses. This is not bias, it’s not gloating, it is just facts. Take a dive into the analytics and it starts to make sense.

I’m not saying it’s deserved or anything.
This is why the ESPN has Texas at over 50% to make the CFP, because you can imagine our chances to win the remaining 3 games are not nearly that high of a clip.

Some key pieces fell yesterday with ACC losses and even OU beating Tennessee was a much better outcome if you are Texas versus a Tennessee win.

Seeing that Texas is currently the second team out and has a win over the first team out, Texas is most certainly in the hunt.

UGA/TX has become a potential playoff game if they both hold serve this week.

Seems like it should be Indiana, A&M and then OSU based on the best wins.

This is nonsensical

You're not gonna truly know until the conference championship games shake out

BYU and Texas Tech literally play next week, so that will change

Maybe, but this is most likely hopium

It's a tight window this year IMO

USC and Michigan could make major jumps with wins over Oregon and Ohio State

The Big XII still might get 2 in if BYU goes undefeated but loses the conference championship game

Memphis ahead of Tennessee. They're gonna love that.
