If Arch plays they lose, and eventually he transfers. Then Texas is seen as not being able to develop players. Hurts on the recruiting side.

If he doesn’t play, he still transfers. And the same result happens.

Their only chance is to have the next QB win and get to the playoffs. Otherwise they are fricked.

Sark’s a lame duck coach it appears. Flirting with the NFL. Another one to fail upwards

I agree. You hate to see it happen to such a wonderful program. You really do.

It is pretty fricked up to think that they are being blackmailed into playing Manning lol. He’s clearly out of his element at this level. I’m not even sure he’d be good at Purdue

They aren't being blackmailed. They made this choice when they recruited him.

Some of our coaches can develop them just fine. Look at the draft last season.

The problem is that the most important position seems to have little to no development and that's the reason arch looks so awful.

I still say this isn't an arch problem. it's a sark problem.

Over the last two years (2024–2025 NFL Drafts), the University of Texas had the most players selected, with 23.

Correct. And things change. If you were developing players Arch would not suck. What you used to do, you clearly aren’t doing now. Or you would have a QB that isn’t arse.

In terms of what overall record? Okay. Sure. Who cares.

Games are played now. Not yesterday.

Try to catch us this year Sunshine. Just try.

Arch is a perfect fit for Texas:

Big name accomplishing far less than expected.

I’d say it’s an OL development problem.

So your shitting on the guy who had over 350 yds and 4 touchdowns and led his team to a comeback victory last week? This you wishful thinking and Texas might beat aggy the last game of the season to go 10-2 and knock yall out the sec title game that’s going to be funny.

Unfortunately, we will never know unless arch transfers and then magically starts to play better.

It’s mixed. Last season it, at times, the offensive line looked really good and then at other times they looked terrible so I don’t know what’s going on with that unit.
I think this is just another way of saying Sark needs to hire an offensive coordinator

/// SYSTEM BOOT: TEXAS_QB_PERFORMANCE_ANALYSIS.EXE ///
**MODE:** Post-Mortem Diagnostic (v.?)
**PROCESSOR:** HI-FI 8000™ (8-Bit Core + Media_Hype Co-Processor)
**TARGET:** Arch Manning (QB #16) — Preseason Expectation Compliance
**TIMESTAMP:** 2025-10-31T19:30:00Z

**STATUS:** ?? **EXPECTATION MISMATCH ERROR**
- **Preseason Hype Level:** 9.8/10.0 (Heisman Favorite, NFL #1 Pick Projection)
- **Actual Performance (Week 1 vs. Ohio State):**
- Completions: 17/30 (56.7%)
- Yards: 170
- TD: 1 | INT: 1
- Off-Target Passes: 37% (Critical Threshold Exceeded)
- Red Zone Efficiency: 0/2 (Failed Sneak Attempt at Goal Line)

**AI Heuristic Verdict (HI-FI 8000™):**
*"Subject exhibits high pedigree signal (Manning DNA), but execution fails under Power 4 load. Media-driven expectation matrix overloaded system buffers. Performance consistent with 'rookie chapter' model. Recommend delay in final judgment until SEC calibration cycle."*

**Failure Code:** `0xE4` — **Overhype Kernel Panic**
**Root Cause:** Preseason narrative injected directly into `QB_EVALUATION.SYS` without empirical validation.

**System Note:**
> _"One chapter does not a season make. But the hype stack has already overflowed."_

They might. But you have to get past Vandy (holds the H2H), Georgia, and Arkansas.

You have 4 games left and 3 are against Top 10 teams.

The fact that you think Texas could still finish with 10 wins is absolutely adorable.
