You’re welcome Bama for pumping those numbers up

Seriously, if you're CBS right now, what are you thinking?

If that game wasn't so tight, it would have been a much better weekend.

Didn’t the sec take missou for the tv market? Two one loss, ranked sec teams going head to head and get half the viewers of the other three games. How bizarre….

I tried to explain it to that idiot koreandawg last week.
People love to see Alabama lose more than any other program.

Any game Bama is tied or trails in the 2H will be the top game of the week almost without question.

At the time, CBS did not have the money to compete with Mickey Mouse.
CBS on its own is small potatoes compared to ESPN/ ABC
CBS I’m sure will try and pickup something from the SEC in the next rounds by paying ESPN for the rights to telecast a few key games or maybe not.
Money talks and BS walks

ESPN has tons of places to park games too. 3 games on ABC. And then you have the cable channels. CBS has great production values. But it also just has CBS. It’s going to be expensive to pry a game away from ABC/ESPN.

So why did they offer more for the BIG TV deal than the SEC?
