Would probably beat Ole Miss and might split Alabama and UGA, but wouldn't beat both. A&M is 8-0 but they haven't truly dominated any team they've played this year - they've had lots of games where they've been winning close or outright losing at the half, LSU included. They're a very talented team and deserve recognition for being 8-0, but even now they're largely untested. They haven't played a single team currently in the top 7 of the SEC and will only play one top-7 SEC team (Texas) before the season is over.

I think we're all interested to see how A&M does against another highly ranked team in general just for the sake of a good football game.

Would be really interested as well. Maybe another playoff caliber team, like Notre Dame.

On a neutral field, Bama/A&M would be a push. Whichever team got even one more break (penalty, turnover, etc) would win.

I think A&M is the best team in the country.

On a neutral field, I'd rank:

A&M

Ole Miss
Bama

Georgia

Only LSU has had a lead at half this season.

The Notre Dame that lost to the only two ranked teams they played?

What?

Florida got crushed
Mississippi State same
LSU same
Arkansas was the closest but was 2 scores was a 2 score game until 10 seconds left.

Auburn was the only close one and their defense is legit plus it was early in season and Reed was still settling in

Look at the team stats A&M vs Auburn.

Total Yards

A&M: 414
Auburn: 177

I don't know man. All of those teams are good enough to beat the others on any given day.

All comes down to who executes better on that day.

To be honest I have not seen the 1st aTm game this
They seem to play when I’m watching a better matchup or the same time as we are playing.

Very doubtful that Texas will be a top 7 team by the time we play them. They play 3 of the top 7 to close out the season. Best case scenario they split their remaining four games and finish 5-3 in conference play.

21-20 at the half

The point I'm making is A&M hasn't dominated a game from start to finish this season. Y'all have had a bunch of games against middling or bottom-tier SEC teams where y'all have needed to pull away late. That's not a terrible thing as it shows that y'all have been a good second half team, but I'd also contest that A&M hasn't played a good offensive team this season besides maybe Notre Dame. So, my wonder is how would A&M do in a game against a good offensive team (which Alabama, UGA, and Ole Miss all are), especially if they had to play from behind?
