They pulled the plug on Frank Martin when his teams started underperforming so it can be done.

Ray Tanner fooked Frank nine kinda ways from Sunday after the Final Four and the the BB Gun fiasco.
No coach can recover from having an entire Top Ten recruiting class wiped out in one fell swoop.
Ray Tanner was a cancer to this program as an AD.

Yup he was hired because he was popular with our big athletic donors of the time and Pastides didn’t give a shite about athletics, just fundraising and selling the soul of this university to every carpetbagging Yankee he could give an application to.

Our AD, Donati, hired the guy at TCU .... Sonny Dykes. Dykes might like a shot in the big leagues.

Ray sucked but this is just bullshite. Frank had a barely .500 record after the final 4 (two games above it)... Mind you, he got 5 seasons after that FF. He never won 20 games after that final 4, and never made the tournament again. One tournament appearance in 10 years. Ray kept him around too long.
NC State just fired their basketball coach last year only a year or two removed from a FF.

SEC record of 41-47. Would Arkansas have kept a coach with that record? I don't think so.
