Jacobs was a 3 star, but Coach said he “ran like a demon”.

Was really excited when we picked up Gibbs from GATech, thought he was going to make more of a difference.

If they got coached by Gillespie, they're not gonna produce

Keep Josh Jacobs “out your $&@# mouth”…kidding

But hope Gibbs fumbles every time he touches the ball until he no longer plays for Detroit.

QB for each mentioned HB, in pass predicated offenses under uncreative pro style playcallers Mike Locksley and Bill O’Brien, respectively:

Tua
Bryce

Wonder why we didn’t run more with weak defenses, O-Lines that only schemed for pro style.

We didn’t get “weak” production from Gibbs. That’s some popular revisionist history. He was playing really well until the MSU game. Got a little banged up. Still played well vs LSU but missed almost the whole game vs Ole Miss. Missed the FCS stat padder and wasn’t 100% for the Iron Bowl. Played well in the bowl game.

Going into that Ole Miss game he was averaging almost 130 scrimmage yards per game. He had about 10 or less plays in 3 out of the 4 first games, but they were also blowout cupcakes.

Jacobs was the one under used. He should’ve played more in the first Clemson NCG loss after Bo broke his leg. Him and Damian got like 6 carries combined. But Bo got too many carries the season after that leg injury that should’ve gone to Jacobs.

Grow up and quit complaining. There is a whole fricking world out here. You are complaining about shite from years ago. Why? Go live your life.

You want to talk about Alabama football? Great, plenty to talk about. We just won another close game. But you want to complain about Gibbs and Jacobs and tell me to go frick myself. Why are you so miserable? Why do you choose to be stuck on some shite like that? We are floating through space on a big arse rock and you are out here worried about that shite?

Dont answer. That was a rhetorical question. I dont want to waste another second of my life thinking about this bullshite.

Josh Jacobs was not coached by Gillespie.

Gibbs was and had nearly 1400 yards from scrimmage in 2022.

Gibbs dropping that screen pass at Tenn still haunts me. Good player tho. It happens.

Gibbs had over 1,300 scrimmage yards and 10 touchdowns in the one season he played for us, and I think he missed a game due to injury. Also, in our two losses:

-29 touches against Tennessee
-22 touches against LSU

It's not like we weren't utilizing him in those games.

Now, it's hard to argue that Jacobs wasn't underutilized, but we still got really good production from the other backs, and he played a large role.

Think about the whacky shite KDB and Grubb would have for Gibbs and Young in that situation

Then why are you posting in this thread cussing at people?

Are you being held at gunpoint and forced to post in threads against your wishes?

Relax.

They are tearing it up in the NFL, which is great to see. I had a random thought about it watching Josh Jacobs on Sunday Night Football.

Perhaps you should go frick yourself with a football bat, doubt you’ve been laid in a decade.
