I could see Sumrall retaining him, if he's the hire

There is a chance LSU goes and gets Drink as HC
He's a very good coach stuck at a mid level team. He will never win the SEC or National championship at Mizzou. He knows it everyone knows it !

This Mizzou defense is as good or better than it ever was under Baker. Offense, not so much.

I would let Baker coach the secondary in a hot second. He had those guys working as a unit.

Another corn dog that just can't seem to comprehend the new normal. You old schoolers best wake up or try to read a little. LSU is no longer a blue blood, and will never be one again due to NIL and parity in college football. Under the old model LSU "might" have been attractive, but under the new norms it isn't a better job than Missouri. Try to keep up....

How did the Baker to LSU move go down and how was it received by Drinkwitz? Did he and Drink get along? Was it a pissy departure? I don’t know, just asking.
Because even tho Drink isn’t my preferred choice, there’s certainly a chance Drink is LSU’s next coach. And Baker stays as DC if they had a respectful parting at Mizzou.
