It's going to be even funnier if LSU hires Marcus Freeman with all the LSU fans previously claiming he was only having success because of Brian Kelly.

I did.
Going into the season, I was a bit skeptical on the national championship or bust stuff. I needed the O-line to prove it to me and wasn't sure the defense could make the steps necessary. In my wildest nightmares did I think the O-line would be this bad and that Nuss would regress.
It's not the record, but the way they looked in the losses. They didn't have any chance of beating Ole Miss, Vandy, or Texas A&M. Something had to change.

I was behind FCBK because of what he did to bring LSU back from the abyss after the O disaster. I think he might have done OK going forward with a staff overhaul and a lot of luck in the portal.
But I never gravitated to him as I did with Gerry and Les. I was more disappointed when they were canned. Kelly leaving is just another hurdle … and an opportunity to learn from our woes and hit a home run.
