Announced before A&M game ticket price next season is going up $15.
Sell out 8 games, that is $12,278,520 of extra funds alone (not increasing concessions, merchandise, etc.). Easily covers a 5 year buyout while allocating current funds towards a new coach.

Don't know how you are going to fill the stadium when A&M doesn't play there twice in one season.

If they fire him, the next coach is going to be more expensive - and have a bigger buyout. LSU fired Orgeron how long after a Natty? BK has had 4 years, and one year was close to a SEC championship. It seems like the fans and admin is expecting the impossible. If you think LSU is a dumpster fire now, just wait. You will become Auburn. BK was a horrible hire, but firing him is even worse. Tell the governor to shut the frick up and take care of your god forsaken state, and quit worrying about football.

No it’s not. With the move to 9 conference games plus 1 non-conference P4 home and away, every team will only have 7 games at home each year
Schools are raising prices because of the loss of that extra G5 home game

Stadium not full doesn’t mean they don’t sell out. Many tickets are sold to corporate world.
