Arkansas holds the advantage within the SEC with a 0-3 record vs. auburn's 0-4 record. Arkansas is looking great in this regard.
On the other hand, auburn dominates nationally with a strong 3-4 overall vs. Arkansas' 2-5. This computes out to a .429 overall winning % for auburn vs. a paltry .286 for Arky. Decisive advantage to auburn here.
Arkansas has lost all three of their away games so far. As luck would have it, they get auburn this season at the frightening and intimidating Razorback Stadium where dreams go to die while the eerily intimidating pig sooie chant is ringing in your ears. Advantage Razorbacks.
auburn is on a less than impressive 4 game losing streak while Arkansas, somehow, is underperforming them in this category with a 5 game losing streak. Advantage auburn.
Bobby Petrino seems to be washed out with little resemblance to his former coaching self.
Hugh Freeze is a 1980's style television evangelist masquerading as a beaver masquerading as a football coach.
Advantage to Arkansas in the coaching category. All in all, Arkansas wins by 10. I said it and I stand by it.

Weather looks miserable for it. Going to be a fun one. My liver is very excited.

This should play in y'alls favor. If the weather was good I'm not sure y'alls offense could keep up with Arkansas'.

The great thing about it is that it is the most meaningless game between the two possibly ever in their storied 41 year history of association.
No one, anywhere, cares. This includes the coaches of both teams, the players, the fans of each team, no one.
The only reason it is being played is to fulfill contractual obligations. If the SEC Network had not been recently created, it would not even be televised.

Rainfall is not expected for MOST of us on Friday!
It looks like almost all the rain will fall in northwest and west Arkansas through Friday evening.
By Saturday rain will spread east across most of Arkansas.
Arkansas vs Auburn (11:45 AM kick) will have steady rain with wind gusts to 20 MPH.
Rain will taper off Sunday morning.
Just one of those weekends where you can get a pot of chili going and watch football all day Saturday!

Too bad we don’t have anyone on defense to get after someone like that

You got me on that one. Wow. They tried their best to be just as horrible, at this point in the season, as they were in 2012.
We have to award them points for trying.

John L Smith coached Arkansas beat a shite Auburn team in 2012. Nobody cared then, either

There are more important things than football.

Sounds good. And who knows, maybe this is the game where Freeze builds a dam and stops an opponent's offensive flow of yardage and pulls out a win.
He'll build a dam anywhere. It doesn't matter if it's a football field, a pond, a lake, at a golf course, in a residential suburb, in a creek that runs in someone's backyard, etc...
He can build a dam like no other coach.
Here is one:
he built just before the season started. I'm still rooting for Arkansas though.
