There are several schools looking for head coaches already and more to come before the end of the year. Which assistants on the Georgia staff do you think will get an HC offer?
Will Bobo get another call from a mid-major? Or will a new coach somewhere want him as their ne OC? Will Schuman get an offer?
Why do you want to see either go? Don't just say Bobo sux.

No on Bobo. He should stay.

Schuman won't get touched. We especially miss Muschamp. One could argue it was talent level, and a bit of it was, but the defense with Schuman/Muschamp/Lanning was on point. Rarely any busts, out of position, etc.

I'm not so sure its all on Schuman. Some of the coordinators - like the guy out west - seem to have been hired more for recruiting purposes. T. Robinson is legit, though.

I have no problem with Bobo being our OC.
I don't know what to think about Schumann. Without otherwordly elite talent plus lanning/muschamp at his side he's kinda sucked. However, it's ultimately kirby's systme. Atgainst OM we were in zone like 80% of the gaem just getting repeatedly torched and marched on over and over and over again. Switch to man and win the game. I refuse to believe that GS is just doing his own thing and kirby is uninvolved.

I absolutley want to see the DB coach from USC gone. Total head scratcher on his hiring anyway. IDC if he can recruit, HS recruiting these days is only a copule steps above meaningless anyway. We need guys that can COACH and this guy can't do it a lick.

I have been on the anti-Searels train since the day he was hired, and still think he kinda sucks. But I will give credit where it's due and say that he has done an admirable job with a ragtag Mash unit this season. With that said, there are surely DOZENS of better OLCs out there somewhere that could do better.

Schumann deserves a look. His overall body of work at UGA is really good to great. This season is an outlier.

Bobo will be here next year I’d imagine.

I can't imagine any major school offering Bobo or Schuman a position. If they do I hope they go. I feel we need fresh blood on both sides of the ball. There comes a time in any institution where "group think" becomes a liability, and one could make the argument that one reason Saban was so successful was he wasn't afraid to make changes, particularly on offense.

We need the fire he brings and seems to instill into the the defensive players.

Severely missing it on that side of the ball

Bobo will leave when he decides to go, not a minute before

I'd be ok with any of them leaving...starting with Searles.

Why were we 10+ yards off the receiver consistently? That td at the beginning of the 3rd is a perfect example.

More importantly he's been in the booth with Monken all three years and now with Bobo. He's going to be an OC somewhere and will recruit the shite out of tight ends and feature them in his brand of offense.

No clue. I feel like most of the time the last 2 years that teams just have their way with us with zero resistence we're always in zone. Then we'll switch to man and tighten up. No idea why we wait until the 3/4 Q to do it.

Can we get Mel Tucker back? Has he retired from coaching. Did he go somewhere after his Mich St tenure?

Kirby is the top coach in the country these days and his coaching tree has been successful. Schumann is a coordinator and Kirby's first lieutenant. The last school that hired a Georgia DC is pretty happy about it. I doubt that ADs would have as much concern about Ole Miss not punting for the first three quarters as our fans do right now and be prisoners of the moment.

Schumann has been linked to most Power 5 job openings, and I hope he takes one.

Our defense is stale and needs to change. Kirby needs to bring in a new DC who challenges his philosophies and makes Kirby take a hollistic approach (terrible expression) about what he thinks about defense, kind of like Monken did after Kirby had old-school OCs like Chaney and Coley.

The Phil Rauscher feller they brought in has been really good this year.

The Georgia Bulldogs announced the hiring of former Jaguars offensive line coach Phil Rauscher as an offensive assistant on Tuesday, marking a move to the college ranks for the former run game coordinator.

Rauscher spent the last three seasons as Doug Pederson's offensive line coach, overseeing a unit that helped launch the Jaguars to the playoffs and an AFC South title in 2022.

Like others on here, I feel that our staff, while mostly qualified as individuals, could use an infusion of outside ideas and backgrounds on both offense and defense.
