Anybody Wondering Why Indiana Has So Much Money?

Because Stankey is an idiot who makes Napier look like Einstein.
Stankey signed off on a corrupt and extremely shitty TV contract that locks SEC schools into an inferior position moneywise for many years.
B1G schools got the gold plated TV contract and now receive much greater TV money payouts than SEC schools.
Stankey was paid off with a grocery sack full of money to sneak in longhorns and ou which added 18 conference games per year but not a single SEC school got one penny extra.
Won't be surprised if B1G schools start cherry picking SEC Coaches.

He was so sneaky that the other schools voted to do it.

They’re a good school in a power conference with rich boosters

Starting with Texas A&M HC.

Do you think this is because Sankey, the university presidents, and the SEC's lawyers simply forgot to put in terms for adding teams in the ESPN contract? I think it's more likely that Texas and Oklahoma were priced into the contract with an understanding that Disney would deliver them to the SEC.
The university presidents must think Sankey is doing a great job, or they would remove him.

Nope. A&M AD was blind sided at SEC media days that tu and ou were being added. Don't agree but A&M BOR decided to vote for it to avoid the embarrassment of being dissenters.
It did build a fire under Aggie donors to upgrade the program. We have more NIL now and our recruiting in Georgia is going awesome!

They kept Texas A&M in the dark because you guys would've instantly ruined everything, like you tried to do as soon as you found out.

Indiana is a sneaky strong business school with deep pockets, kind of like a big east school that only focused on basketball. Good for the sport to see them ponying up imo

Just to be clear, if Aggy tried to make a fuss we would’ve tossed you homos to the curb so fast it’d make your head spin

The SEC’s TV contract renewals need to be set up to take place following the B1G’s renewal, not prior. Or set it up so there can at least be a discussion after any changes to the B1G’s.

Good ideas. I don't understand how Stankey who is undoubtedly paying a lot of expensive consultants didn't demand something like this that shows some common sense.

So no backbone or pride. Gotcha.

How would Aggys have ruined everything? Maybe ruined everything for your school. But, bringing Texas and OU in to the SEC hasn't helped any of the rest of our schools at all. All Texas and OU has done is caused the rest of us to have screwed up football schedules. The most ridiculous aspect of all of this is that none of our schools are making any money from taking on you two charity cases. At least when Missouri and A&M joined the conference each school received millions of dollars due to their addition.
