He’ll be an NFL coach within 3 years and hated the recruiting process. I cannot imagine this happening.

Brady is a year or two away from getting traction as a HC in the NFL.
He let everyone that would listen know how much he hated the college game, recruiting all that and its worse now with NIL.

Brady would be a fool to stay in the NFL.

Why? It's much easier.

The going rate for a first time head coach in the NFL is around 4 million. Would probably get at least double at Penn State.
Brady would really have to hate recruiting with a passion not to cash in like he could.

The NFL grind is much less than college today. It’s been documented he doesn’t like recruiting and that was before NIL/portal. Zero chance he comes back to college.

He'd have to get some ridiculous guaranteed contract probably.

Don’t see PSU going for a guy with 0 HC experience.

The NFL has a lot less patience for any mishaps though. You get in with the right college program and the leash is a bit longer. Probably outside the SEC that is

The entire reason Brady left for the NFL from college was because he hated the whole recruiting process, why would he come back to that for any amount of money? The NFL is much cushier from a year round perspective. It's only gotten much worse with NIL since he left as well.

Brady left LSU because he hates recruiting

Not necessarily true. Recruiting is easier now with the right support system. It's less about greasing every uncle and coach's palms now and is much more like the NFL. He'd have a strong support system at Penn State, though hiring staff that understand the portal will be critical.

You actually get some real, no shite time off.
Not in college.

What a foolish statement. In today’s world, NFL coaching jobs are significantly more appealing than college jobs.

LOL. That's just what he told LSU people.

Maybe. Maybe not. The money for head coaches is a wash. Assistants make more in the NFL. There’s a reason that the NCAA lifted the restriction on the number of assistants a school can have. It’s to lessen the workload for head coaches and top assistants

There’s a report that the Buffalo Bills owner Terry Pegula is pushing for Penn State to hire Joe Brady away from the Bills. Why he would do that? Who knows. But keep in mind that Pegula is a huge PSU donor so there’s a method to his madness
