1. First D1 coach ever to start 8-0 at two separate institutions in consecutive seasons (10-0 @ JMU and 10-0 @ Indiana)

2. First head coach to defeat an AP top-five ranked opponent on the road (2025)

3. Most head coaching wins in a single season: 11 (2024)

4. Most Big Ten Conference head coaching wins in a single season: 8 (2024)

5. First head coach to start their tenure with a 4–0 record (2024)

6. First head coach to reach double-digit wins in a single season (2024)

7. First head coach to reach the College Football Playoff (2024–25)

Dude is literally the best coach ever in Indiana history in 1.5 years there

Indiana just has to decide to pay him. At this rate he will be back in the playoffs and not available until January.....

Very solid HC. Would be a great transition HC to build a program. He has 5 or so good years left in him.

But, then, you have to worry about paying a guy so much that he doesn't have any incentive to perform at or above the same level.

Yeah with the new transfer portal rules, it'll be almost impossible to hire a HC from a playoff team since you'd want any new coach recruiting for you well before then.

Indiana has the money to match any offer. At 64 not sure he leaves to rebuild a program. He can win a NC at IU.

Incidentally, Drink is yet another head coach who looks like a gay PE teacher.

The dude comes off as an arrogant prick during interviews. But that’s what is successful. No nonsense types that this younger generation tends to avoid. But guys like that are also perfectionists and demand excellence. That’s a world that we all should try to remember. Not this trophy for everyone bullshite

Things have turned around for IU. This school was a dead end. Just an impossible place to win.

As an IU grad who grew up 3 miles north of ND stadium I really hope IU keeps Cignetti. For what it’s worth on 10/13 PSU’s private jet was on the ground in Columbus for 4 hours and 1 min.

Possibly to interview Hartline. It would be negligent if schools at least didn’t reach out to him. A lot of people think he’s still too green to hire as HC. He’s only in his first year calling plays.

That’s what my coworker and I thought as well. I just don’t want to see that aircraft anywhere near Bloomington
