He won't be back for LSU, for sure.

It hurts us pretty badly.

I hope he's back for Texas.

He will likely be out until the Texas game.

Fortunately, we’re in a significantly better position this year than we were last year when we lost him.

A&M has an extremely deep RB room with Rueben Owens, Amari Daniels, EJ Smith, and Jamarion Morrow.

But yeah, it’s a big hit, no doubt.

Until he gets back I’m all for Owen’s/morrow splitting bulk of the carries, with a Daniel’s drive or two thrown in, or as 3rd down back.

EJ impressed late in the game against FL as well, including a 16-yard run to set up a TD.

Really sucks. Moss is definitely our best guy for always getting positive yardage even if nothing is there. He's just a tough SOB, just ran over that UF DB Saturday as well and walked into the end zone. We have some talent in that RB room but it's always nice to have a guy that just wears the other team out like Moss does and I'm not sure that we have anyone else quite like that.

As is being discussed in other places, the NCAA really needs to take a look at these hip-drop tackles. They’re the equivalent of a horse collar, and are causing a ton of injuries.

We are really strong at RB. We will be fine.

We’re going to need all of them to contribute.

Owens has home run potential. Daniel’s knows all the plays and runs hard but is lightweight. I saw EJ has bulked up and can break tackles. Morrow looks promising.

We’re going to need a combo of all of them to recreate what Moss can do.

The hip drop tackle is an issue in college football. Moss was injured on one and Aguilar for Tennessee got hurt on one too this weekend.

I get it happens but Florida was hip dropping on half their tackles Saturday. NFL banned it for a reason.

targeting / h2h caused this. I dont know why anyone would even want to play defense these days

He should be, but return games for injured players are not working out too good this year.

If you have an OL, then most any of 'em will work.
